Life is full of the unexpected.
We are here to help you navigate the storm.
Our founder
When I was a little girl, I was blessed with a terrific life. We had a big close family and I was the oldest, with three younger brothers. My mom and dad had a great marriage and were business partners in the insurance industry. I was a competitive gymnast, we lived in a a private gated community and I went to Catholic school.
At the age of 10, my father was diagnosed with a rare aggressive stomach cancer and passed away just four short months later when his liver failed. While he was sick, he wrote us letters for us to receive at certain points in our lives, such as our 16th birthdays and high school graduation. I can remember our long talks while he was sick. In particular, I can remember being in his room late one night after gymnastics practice. I was telling him that I was scared to do a flyaway dismount on the bars. He responded by telling me that he wasn’t afraid to die. He said he would always live in our hearts and watch over us while he was in Heaven with God.
To say we were devastated by his death was an understatement, but because my mom and dad were in the insurance business and believed in protection, we were financially prepared. This afforded our family the ability to focus on what was important, grieving the loss of my father, my hero! And in turn, we weren’t forced to move away, change schools or disrupt all of the invaluable relationships that proved to be a crucial part of our support system getting us through our loss. At a very young age, I learned the hard way about the importance of insurance. In fact, years later, I found an assignment from 7th grade which said, “when I grow up, I want to sell life insurance.”
Fast forward years later and I still had the same dream. While in college, I got my insurance license at the age of 19. As soon as I graduated from college, I joined my mom in her business and we eventually became partners. Fast forward again and I now have my own Employee Benefits Agency, three beautiful children and a supportive and incredibly handsome husband.
My success is no doubt because of the angel that watches over me.
